The Paradise
British Car Club is governed by a Board of Directors, elected every
other year for two year
terms. The Directors are responsible for all business aspects
of the Club, and operate under a set of By-laws set up when the club
was formed. The Club, however, is operated
on a very loose basis in that there
is only one general meeting each year and there
usually isn’t much business to discuss.
We don’t have meetings throughout the year;
all of our get-togethers are
fun events—country drives, wine tours, picnics,
etc. The Board may meet on
occasion to discuss any important item that
may need attention.
The North
Meets South event is the only event that we have that we advertise
to enthusiasts
outside the Club, so we do have a committee responsible
for the organization and implementation
of that event. This committee is responsible for
all aspects of the meet, and
reports to the Board.
